As we look forward to the end of the school year, I would like to remind parents that a sixth grade physical is due in the Heminway Health Office the first week in June. The blue State of Connecticut form must be filled out by your child’s doctor along with updated immunizations. If you have not scheduled this appointment, you should do so quickly. This is a very busy time of the year for physicals and you may not be able to get a time that is convenient for you and allows you to have the physical at Heminway by the beginning of June. If you need a blue form, please call the school and I will be sure your child brings one home. A student without a physical will not be allowed to start grade seven.
Several field trips are scheduled for the near future. All medications that are ordered for school time use, will also be available on the trip. Please do not sent medications with your child for any trip.
